MADE was made to move!

As it enters its 19th year of vibrant dance making and inclusive and creative dance classes, MADE has cemented itself as Australia’s leading mature dance company.

Since 2005 MADE has inspired 33,000 wise and wonderful dancing feet! We’ve produced 20 unique full-length dance works, toured new Tasmanian work to both national and international audiences and engaged with hundreds of performers, choreographers, designers and directors.

MADE offers weekly dance classes for adults of all ages and abilities.

MADE is fortunate to receive vital support via arts and community grants at a local, state and federal level including annual Organisations funding from Arts Tasmania. That funding, combined with the valuable support of a group of dedicated and highly skilled volunteers combined with the income we receive from classes provides the backbone of our organisation. However as a not-for-profit registered charity, MADE relies on the generosity of our broad community of supporters to keep our productions and classes accessible and to continue creating positive opportunities for the mature adult community.

Each gift, no matter what size, makes a difference....

MADE gratefully acknowledges the following generous donors who have supported us since 2022:
